SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of obtaining 1,3-bis-O-(polyfluoralkyl)glycerol of the general formula: , where at X=H n=2,4,6; at X=F n=1-8, which is applied as surface-active substances and semi-products for organic synthesis. The method consists in the interaction of fluorinated alcohol of the general formula X(CF₂)_nCH₂OH at X=H n=2,4,6; at X=F n=1-8 with epichlorohydrin in an alkaline medium with heating. The process is carried out with the molar ratio of fluorinated alcohol:epichlorhydrin:alkali equal 3:1:2, at a temperature of 70-75°C, with the separation of the target product being realised by precipitation with a mineral acid, separation of the organic layer and its distillation in vacuum.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to obtain target products with high output with the application of a simple technology.
