FIELD: organic chemistry, chemical technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention describes water-soluble complexes of fullerene-C70 with poly-N-vinylamides of the general formula: Am-Bn wherein A means links of N-vinylpyrrolidone; B means links of N-vinulcaprolactam; m = 0-100 mole%; n = 0-100 mole%, i. e. in series comprising compounds including poly-N-vinylpyrrolidone, poly-N-vinylcaprolactam and copolymers of N-vinylpyrrolidone with N-vinylcaprolactam with the intrinsic viscosity value [η] = 0.22-0.73 dl/g in the content of fullerene-C70 2.2-3.3 wt.-%. Also, invention relates to a method for preparing water-soluble complexes of poly-N-vinylamides with fullerene-C70 by mixing poly-N-vinylamide solution in chloroform with fullerene-C70 solution in organic solvent followed by removal of solvents and isolation of complex from an aqueous extract. Substances of the general formula: Am-Bn are used as poly-N-vinylpyrrolidone wherein A means links of N-vinylpyrrolidone; B means links of N-vinylcaprolactam; m = 0-100 mole%; n = 0-100 mole%, i. e. poly-N-vinylpyrrolidone, poly-N-vinylcaprolactam and copolymers of N-vinylpyrrolidone with N-vinylcaprolactam show the intrinsic viscosity value [η] = 0.22-0.73 dl/g. Ortho-dichlorobenzene is used as a solvent for fullerene-C70 in the concentration of fullerene-C70 0.24-0.27 wt.-% in solution. Complexes can be used in preparing luminescent polymeric film materials and covers.
