FIELD: wind-power engineering; construction of windmill electric generating plants.
SUBSTANCE: proposed plant has electric generator connected with horizontal windwheel by means of vertical shaft; windwheel is located in vertical tube; plant is also provided with air flow concentrator which is made in form of two truncated polyhedral pyramids with their vertices opposite each other. Pyramids are interconnected by means of trapezoidal walls forming radial passages narrowing from periphery to center. Mounted in between walls are double-way doors and spring stops engageable with them.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency.
