FIELD: pipeline engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises stripping the pipeline to provide hollows at the ends of the pipeline section to be repaired, developing the trench under the pipeline down to the specified depth, forming the bearing and water-catching cross-pieces for conducting water away, repairing the insulation, balancing the underwater part of the section to be repaired by means of weights, cutting the cross-pieces out, putting the pipe line down, filling the trench with soil, and retrieving the bed.
EFFECT: reduced time of repairing.
