METHOD FOR USING CONTEXT IDENTIFIER IN CASH-MEMORY Russian patent published in 2006 - IPC G06F12/00 

FIELD: computer science, in particular, engineering of methods and devices for controlling cash memory using context identifier.

SUBSTANCE: one of device variants contains generator of context identifiers for their generation, control block for assignment of context identifiers to cash rows and cash. Second variant of device contains address generation block, cash, at least three comparators, controlling block for generation of two or more context identifiers and for selecting one of them, two registers for storing address of base of catalogue of pages of each circuit of computer programs being executed, generator of context identifiers and multiplexer. Third variant of device contains cash, logical circuits for comparing tag being requested and context identifier being requested, device for determining hits/misses for determining whether false coincidence is present between requested context identifier and connected context identifier. Methods describe operation of aforementioned devices.

EFFECT: improved characteristics of cash-memory in computing device.
