FIELD: nuclear steam-generating plants.
SUBSTANCE: proposed heat shield is made in the form of circular shield built of separate blocks. The latter are joined together by means of projections and depressions and are provided with draw-in grip in bottom part. Top parts of blocks have bypass holes and cylindrical drillings accommodating spacing members. The latter afford fixation of mentioned blocks in circular structure of heat shield or provide for radial clearance between blocks and fuel assemblies.
EFFECT: facilitated recovery of heat shield.
