FIELD: heavy-power switching engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed high-current and high-voltage switching apparatus has at least one switch pole 1, 1', 1" actuated by rotary shaft 8, 8', 8", at least one lever assembly 10, 10', 10", first change-over rod 11, and at least one operating mechanism 2 with operating rod 24; rotary shaft 8, 8', 8" is coupled with lever assembly 10, 10', 10" and the latter is coupled in its turn with first change-over rod 11; the latter is coupled with first operating rod 24. Movements of the latter are converted into rotary motions of rotary shaft 8, 8',8". Provision is made for transmission gear 15 coupled with first change-over rod 11 and second change-over rod 2 coupled with transmission gear 15 and operating rod 24. Such arrangement makes it possible to dispose operating mechanism 2 so as to retain design features of building, such as projecting concrete edges, at the same time minimizing surface area for mounting switching apparatus.
EFFECT: reduced space requirement.
