FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: release device is intended for an electrical switching device located in the first current circuit (4) and containing at least two switching contacts (2; 102; 202; 3; 103; 203) located in housing (6) and detached at passage through them of the current exceeding a threshold value. The release device includes actuating element (125; 225) reacting against force of return device (134) to pressure (p) created with arc (LB) ignited at electrodynamic output of the contacts. This brings tripping mechanism (9; 109; 209) into action. The actuating element includes movable element (126; 226; 326; 426; 526) forming in flow passage (127; 227) connected to a detachment zone the support body (128; 228; 328; 428; 528) performing control movement at pressure (p) that shall lead to trip. The movable element is installed so that movement trajectory of its support body passes in a plane across direction (135, 235) of the flow in the flow passage. Movable element (126) is installed so that it can be rotated about axis (129) passing parallel to the flow direction.
EFFECT: creation of a release device that sets no high requirements for tightness of gas-guiding parts of the housing, which can use pressure difference acting across the flow direction and leading to lifting force of a support body.
