FIELD: agricultural engineering, in particular, construction of seeding units for continuous sowing of small-seed crops.

SUBSTANCE: seeding unit has casing, horizontal drive shaft and seeding disk made from elastic material and mounted on drive shaft. Seeding disk has rim equipped with bore having width smaller than seed size. Seed accommodating slots are provided at sides of bore. Resilient disk plate is mounted in axially aligned relationship on drive shaft so that it tightly adheres to side of seeding disk. Disk plate rests upon pair of rollers mounted on casing. One of rollers is located in upper part and other roller is located in lower part of seeding unit. Seeding unit is also equipped with seed throwing device. Elastic material of seeding unit is resilient. Resilient disk plate has greater diameter than seeding disk. Second resilient disk plate provided on second side of seeding unit rests upon second pair of rollers located in upper and lower parts of seeding unit. Resilient disk plates rest upon rollers with their peripheral portions of sides facing seeding disk. Circumferential sides of seeding unit are secured with resilient disk plates. Seed accommodating slots define annular chamber axially aligned with seeding disk. Depressions provided on sides of seeding disk are adapted for thinning of annular chamber sides. Gate is provided on upper portion of annular chamber slightly to the right of rollers and fixed on casing. Stopper is provided in upper portion of bore slightly to the left of rollers and fixed on casing.

EFFECT: increased efficiency owing to uniform continuous sowing of seeds and protection of seeds from damage.
