FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: beforehand one should detect the area of maximal transverse range for triceps gastrocnemius muscle. Then in this area with the help of a clamping element a piezosensor should be fixed. One should affect Achilles' tendon to measure a signal that characterizes the time for the reflex of triceps gastrocnemius muscle. According to reflex time measured it is possible to conclude upon the degree thyroid dysfunctions. The line for maximal transverse range should be determined visually at patient's pointed toe. As a piezosensor one should apply the one being designed upon barium titanate basis. The innovation enables to obtain more objective results of investigation conducted.

EFFECT: higher accuracy of diagnostics.
