FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with removing both small- and large-sized adrenal tumors. For this purpose, it is necessary to fix a patient on his left side at the angle of 45° against the surface of operational table with lifted roller at the level of X-XII thoracic vertebrae. Skin incision should be fulfilled from xiphoid process being 2 cm below the edge of costal arch and then - parallel to it up to the level of median auxiliary line. Then comes deviation of right-hand hepatic lobe due to complete mobilization up to hepatic veins followed by median shift. Tightening and dissecting of central adrenal vein (CAV) should be conducted before the moment of adrenal mobilization and removal. The innovation enables to decrease the risk of life-threatening hemorrhage out of inferior vena cava (IVC) and CAV, decrease traumatism due to lancing one anatomical cavity, shorten time of operation and decrease the number of postoperational complications.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of removal.
