FIELD: research of high-speed interaction of solids.
SUBSTANCE: the blasting propellant device for formation of a steel compact member has an explosive charge with a cumulative funnel, steel facing and a shaper. A lens of an inert high-density material is installed in the apex of the cumulative funnel, and the shaper is made in the form of a massive steel component installed in the flight trajectory of the cumulative jet behind the larger base of the cumulative facing. Due to spreading of the material of the jet heading part at piercing of the shaper in the radial direction, first eliminated is the head low-density section of the jet, and then from the second part of the jet, due to partial elimination of it and probable compression the compact member is formed.
EFFECT: simplified formation of the compact member of the preset mass and speed, with the directivity of its motion remaining uncharged.
