FIELD: experimental physics, applicable mainly in research of high-speed interaction of solids.

SUBSTANCE: the device for projection by the Mach detonating wave consists of an explosive, steel facing of the shaped recess of the cylinder-spherical shape, metal body accommodating an explosive charge, detonating arrangement on the end face or lateral surface of charge. According to the invention, the explosive charge is blasted with the aid of the detonating arrangement on the peripheral annular surface. At a collision of the incident detonating waves a Mach wave is formed, whose diameter is at least 0.52 to 0.53 d, where a is the inside diameter of the facing hemispherical section. The pressure in the Mach wave is essentially higher than that behind the front of the incident stationary wave. This phenomenon is used for increasing the projection speed of the compact component.

EFFECT: simplified forming of the high-speed steel compact component.
