FIELD: radio direction-finding technologies, namely, engineering of systems for determining spatial position of object, for example, an aircraft, and azimuth and local angle directions to appropriate beacon.
SUBSTANCE: onboard receiving system includes receiving device with magnetic antenna primarily with rod core. Longitudinal axes of object and core are directed similarly and are parallel. In blocks for selecting and measuring received radiation is selected, and its level is measured. Magnetic antenna has sharply expressed minimum of received radiation signal, because of which precision of direction determining is 0,5 degrees. Trajectory of object movement is pace is changed until receiving minimal level of received signal and on basis of position of object when this condition is fulfilled, direction towards appropriate beacon is estimated, while determining azimuth and local angle directions with use of onboard equipment for measuring the same. Antenna is protected from interfering electromagnetic radiation, arriving from back spatial hemisphere, and electromagnetic radiation of appropriate beacon, reflected on the surface of object.
EFFECT: increased precision of determining position of object in space independently from weather conditions due to increased precision of determining azimuth and local angle directions to appropriate beacon, absence of false bearing, increased safety of object movements, for example, during landing, decreased mass-dimensional characteristics of appropriate onboard equipment, increased technical and economical efficiency.
