FIELD: radio direction-finding, in particular, methods for determination of object spatial attitude, for example, flight vehicle, and azimuth and angular altitude directions to the respective beacon.
SUBSTANCE: the beacon transmitting system transmits and the on-board receiving system receives electromagnetic radiation of the radio-frequency band by a magnetic antenna with a stem core connected to the receiving system. The longitudinal axes of the object and core are similarly oriented and parallel. The received radiation is selected, its level is measured, the trajectory of object motion in space is changed until the minimum level of the received signal is obtained, and the direction to the respective beacon is determined according to the object attitude when this condition is attained. When the approach of the object to the respective beacon is necessary, its azimuth and/or angular altitude direction to the respective beacon is compared with the preset one, their mismatch is measured with the preset one, their mismatch is measured, the trajectory of object motion is corrected by decreasing the value of mismatch up o the minimum possible value, and simultaneously the object direction to the respective beacon is retained. The antenna is also screened of noise electromagnetic radiation passing from the aft hemisphere of the space, and electromagnetic radiation of the respective beacon reflected from the object surface.
EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of determination of the object location in space irrespective of the weather conditions due to the enhanced accuracy of determination of the azimuth and angular altitude directions to the respective beacon, absence of a false bearing, enhanced safety of object motion, for example, at landing, reduced mass and dimensional characteristics of the respective on-board equipment, enhanced technical-economic efficiency.
