FIELD: food industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in storing and transporting of cakes and like confectionery sensitive to pushes or compression leading to loss of quality. Proposed container is made of sheet or film thermoplastic material and it contains cover and flat bottom part with possibility of fastening cover on bottom part. Upper outer surface of cover and lower outer surface of bottom part are provided with congruent protectors getting one into the other when stacking the containers. Said congruent protectors are made so that more than one cavity is provided for each projection, or more than one projection is provided for each cavity. Protectors can be made in form of arc-shaped and alternating extended projections and cavities arranged over erring with radial orientation inside ring.

EFFECT: improved reliability of stacking containers owing to increased of sliding friction preventing horizontal displacement and turning of bottom part of one container relative to cover of other container in process of stacking.
