FIELD: food products; package.

SUBSTANCE: container is made of thermoplastic material and includes flat bottom and bulky cover with top plane. The plane has a circular radial ledge along the plane perimeter, the ledge is volumetric and oriented towards the side opposite to the geometric centre of the said plane. The bottom plane has at least one supporting circular ledge, the lower face of which is parallel to the bottom. On the inner profile of the supporting bottom ledge, a circular radial recess is made along the profile perimeter. The recess is volumetric and oriented towards the side opposite to the geometric centre of the bottom. The radial recess in the bottom follows the radial ledge in the cover to fix the bottom of the upper container to the cover of the lower container by force fitting the radial ledge in the cover into the radial recess in the bottom. The force fit is ensured by the fact that the distance between diametrically opposite points on the radial ledge is greater than the distance between diametrically opposite points on the radial recess. This difference creates strain along the contact area between the ledge and recess faces, when the radial ledge of one container is inserted into the radial recess of the other container, i.e. the appropriate strained stack ring, which ensures firm joint of stacked containers.

EFFECT: increased stack stability angle.
