FIELD: biotechnology, in particular cultural medium useful in identification of Gram negative bacteria.
SUBSTANCE: claimed cultural medium contains mixture of compounds providing appearance of halo having different color and size. Said mixture comprises silica, defatted milk, starch and microbiological active carbon. Additionally cultural medium mixture of nutrients, substances that provide different colony coloring, substances that provide inhibition of Gram positive microorganisms, and substances that provide presence of solid matrix for colony growth and development. Method includes microorganism differentiation on the base of at least 10 characteristic colony colors of proper and improper form and at least 5 different characteristic colors and size of halo.
EFFECT: method for simultaneous identification of several microorganism species.
