FIELD: hydraulic structures, particularly fish passes permitting fish passage through support structures to fish hatchery and growth areas.

SUBSTANCE: fish passing device comprises bottom fish-directing baffle inclined to longitudinal axis of fish pass and adjoining inlet part of fish accumulation bed. The device also has fish-guiding flow creation means, which creates flow at several levels above upper edge of bottom baffle. Fish-guiding flow creation means has working members connected to upper edge of bottom baffle by low ends thereof so that the working members may be displaced in space under the action of transit flow passing through spillway bays of hydraulic system. The working members are vertical and are discretely distributed over the full length of upper edge of bottom baffle. The working members define space for free transit flow passage located in-between.

EFFECT: simplified fish behavior control in surface flow levels.
