FIELD: hydraulic structures, particularly fish passes permitting fish passage through support structures to fish hatchery and growth areas.
SUBSTANCE: fish passing device comprises bottom fish-directing baffle inclined to longitudinal axis of fish pass and adjoining inlet part of fish accumulation bed. The device also has flow control means to control flow along the baffle made as apron having horizontal plane transversal to side wall of bottom baffle. The apron is fixed to bottom baffle over the full baffle length from downstream free-flow side wall thereof so that horizontal flange is created. The apron extends in plane located in space between lower and upper bottom baffle edges. Apron has width variable in bottom baffle length direction.
EFFECT: simplified fish-passing device structure and increased efficiency of flow control along bottom baffle.
