FISH PASSING DEVICE Russian patent published in 2005 - IPC

FIELD: hydraulic building, particularly devices adapted to create directed fish passage to fish passing structure inlet.

SUBSTANCE: fish passing device has bottom fish guiding baffles arranged so that at acute angle to inlet part of fish passage is created in plane. Fish passing device also comprises additional means to provide visual orientation for fish formed on low-pressure baffle sides and connected to control system. Working members of additional means are intermittently arranged along the baffle length in parallel to low-pressure baffle edge. Additional means is made as point light sources located inside sealed box, wherein point light sources are directed towards lower pool. End box part facing lower pool is made of solid transparent material. Control system includes commutator, which provides flying light effect formed by light sources and directed towards inlet part of fish passage.

EFFECT: increased ability of fish attraction at night time.
