FIELD: fuel cells using licensed solid electrolyte.
SUBSTANCE: proposed fuel cell with solid polymeric electrolyte is used to build fuel-cell battery of plurality of fuel cells, each incorporating fuel plate, oxidizing plate, and solid polymeric electrolyte membrane disposed between fuel and oxidizing plates. Fuel cell functions to generate electrical energy by means of chemical reaction between first gas supplied to fuel plate side and second gas fed to oxidizing plate side. First gas in this fuel cell supplied to fuel plate side and second gas fed to oxidizing plate side are free to flow mainly in opposite directions within fuel-cell battery so that water produced on oxidizing plate end is flowing in reversible direction between fuel and oxidizing plates thereby enlarging water holding area in solid polymeric electrolyte membrane.
EFFECT: improved characteristics of fuel cell.
