FIELD: medicine, ophthalmology.
SUBSTANCE: it is necessary to detect the values of amplitude characteristics of ocular hemodynamics at ocular rheography and sphygmography to compare them with normative value. One should fulfill preliminary ultrasound ocular biometry in three sections and determine eyeball's parameters, such as anterior-posterior, horizontal and vertical sizes. Then it is necessary to calculate eyeball's volume, detect the ratio of obtained ocular volume against normative value of average volume of normal eye. Values of amplitude characteristics of ocular hemodynamics should be multiplied by the coefficient obtained. The innovation enables to standardize amplitude values detected in case of rheography or sphygmography and make them to be independent against eyeball's volume, provide the chance for observing real pathological alterations at ocular volume's deviation against the norm. All the tactics increases the value of the method suggested in predicting different ocular pathology.
