SUBSTANCE: conducting a diagnostic examination, which determines the anteroposterior size of the eyeball, the thickness of the sclera and the intraocular pressure. The thickness of the sclera is determined in the projection of the transition of the flat part of the ciliary body to the choroid. Intraocular pressure is determined taking into account the rigidity of the corneoscleral membrane of the eyeball. The scleral tension is calculated and the obtained value is compared with the sclera scores of patients with different degrees of myopia. If the obtained values of the voltage are exceeded, the sclera of the control indices, a progression of myopia is predicted.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to improve the accuracy of the prognosis of myopia progression due to the individually calculated strain of the corneoscleral membrane of the eye for each patient.
