FIELD: shipbuilding; construction of tanker hulls.

SUBSTANCE: proposed tank vessel has hull with bottom, inner bottom, sides, upper deck and cargo zone with cargo tanks located on larger part of its length. Sides are of double construction over entire length of cargo zone; double sides are provided with inner and outer plating forming inter-side space divided in height by upper inter-side platform. Inner plating of each side is structurally combined with longitudinal bulkhead directed towards it in at least part of tanks. Besides that, longitudinal bulkheads are strengthened by horizontal and/or vertical beams located inside inter-side space. Cargo tanks have tops which are combined with upper deck in many tanks and are provided with flat plating directed to interior of tanks and with framing members located on side of upper deck.

EFFECT: enhanced economical efficiency due to reduced usage of materials; low expenses for operation.
