FIELD: shipbuilding; construction of tank vessels.
SUBSTANCE: cargo tank has bottom, vertical guards consisting of longitudinal and transverse bulkheads and tank top with access hatch. At least one transverse bulkhead is provided with foundation and is supported over contour; transverse bulkhead is of corrugated construction with vertically oriented corrugations provided with webs and walls for forming no less than two sections over bulkhead length at differentiated rigidity and moment of inertia. Bulkhead foundation is made in form of extensible member of trapezoidal section which is provided with bearing web and stiffeners bent downward; it is supported by three-dimensional floor consisting of two members: one member is lower member of deep frame and other member is parallel to it.
EFFECT: reduced usage of material.
