FIELD: shipbuilding; construction of tanker hulls.
SUBSTANCE: hull of proposed tanker consists of framing system with box-shaped keel, deep frames, stringers and beams. Double sides of hull are provided with outer and inner plating forming inter-side space. Cargo and settling tanks of cargo compartment are formed by main transverse bulkheads supported by deep frames and longitudinal bulkheads; center longitudinal bulkhead is located in zone of tanker CL; this bulkhead is corrugated; corrugations are vertical. Main transverse bulkheads are also corrugated; their corrugations are provided with webs and walls forming at least two sections at differentiated rigidity and moment of inertia. Foundation of each transverse bulkhead is made in form of extended member with bearing web and stiffeners bent downward.
EFFECT: reduced usage of material and expenses for operation; enhanced durability and damage resistance of ship.
