FIELD: burning of liquid and gaseous fuels in furnaces and combustion chambers of boilers and heat power engineering plants.
SUBSTANCE: the method consists in supply of primary air and secondary air swirler by swirlers, gaseous fuel from the gas header through a great number of radial gas nozzles that is mixed with the counter flow of the secondary air and liquid fuel by means of an atomizer to the burning zone. The rate of formation of the gas-air mixture is reduced by means of the fact that the radial gas nozzles with a diameter of 0.1 to 7.5 mm are in the mouth of the angle of flame divergence, and the nozzle end is positioned at the same vertical level with the end of the gas header, as well as due to the angle of flame divergence preventing the flame overshoot inside the burner or the flame flow separation.
EFFECT: provided highly effective and safe burning of fuel, its saving, reduced harmful ejections into the atmosphere, enhanced capacity of boilers and reduced expenditures on their maintenance.
