SUBSTANCE: method comprises preliminary heating the working passage, submerging the pump into the metal melt to be pumped, and pumping the melt. The inductors are powered with a tree-phase current with direct phase alternating to provided a direct running electromagnetic field. In the period of submerging to the melt, the windings of the inductor are powered with the three-phase current with inverse phase alternating.
EFFECT: prolonged service life.
