FIELD: electrical engineering; pump building.
SUBSTANCE: core (C) of a cylindrical linear induction pump (CLIP) contains a cylindrical pump housing. Also, inductors with magnetic conductors of inductors (MCI) and inductance coils (IC) are linearly located on the surface of the pump housing. It contains coaxially located inside the housing with formation of annular working channel C with core magnetic conductors (CMC) located inside it. Also comprises a central part C in the form of a cylindrical casing, axially installed inside the casing bearing a crosspiece with longitudinal ribs, dividing the inner volume of the casing into corresponding to the number of longitudinal ribs of the bearing cross-piece of longitudinal sectors. Which are limited on one side by casing, and on the other side by longitudinal ribs of bearing crosspiece, and are located in each of said sectors of blending CMC in form of sets of longitudinal plates from electrical steel, located parallel to axes of symmetry of sections of said sectors.
EFFECT: improvement of efficiency and reliability of pump operation by reduction of its power consumption, increased head and flow rate of pumped liquid molten metal at simultaneous increase of its strength, reliability and durability of functioning.
