FIELD: machine engineering, working by cutting, designs of blade type impellers.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of rough working of impeller blank and forming blanks of blades by milling them with use of tool performing successive passes. In order to enhance efficiency of working, blades are subjected to tangential milling. Tool passes along paths arranged along radiuses relative to tool. After each pass tool is rotated in tangential plane relative to impeller. Blade type one-piece impeller includes blades whose sides are formed by linear rows. In order to achieve the same result, said rows are arranged practically along radiuses in lengthwise direction.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of making impeller.
