SUBSTANCE: method involves the use of end milling cutters, which do roughing machining by cutting blade-to-blade grooves of the same width in the radial direction, and finishing by milling the profile of the airfoil from the tip of the blade to the transition radius of the hub. When finishing, the removal of metal is done successively in rows alternating from the pressure side and the back and measured by the height of the blade airfoil. The width of the first row α1 is selected less than or equal to half the width of the subsequent row α2, and the width of subsequent rows αi - equal to or less than the previous row αi-1 provided that the alternation of rows does not lead to a symmetrical removal of metal from the pressure side and the back and ensures maximum rigidity of the blade being treated.
EFFECT: accuracy of rotor manufacturing.
