FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises grinding and finishing the working surface of the lapping tool and making microscopic hollows in the working surface by means of exposing the surface to the air-abrasive jet that outflows from the nozzle at the distance X = (1-3)dc with lateral feeding S = 0.7d0, where dc is the diameter of the nozzle and d0 is the diameter of the hollow in the plane. The number of abrasive grains is determined from the formula presented.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency.
