SUBSTANCE: invention relates to packing equipment, namely, to forming hose of packing material. Proposed device contains forming member in form of rectangular section branch pipe with beveled forming end face, and guide member in form of collar made of planes tilted relative to longitudinal axis of branch pipe is connected with branch pipe. Collar is divided along said axis and it consists of two wings with free ends from side of coiled material entrance. Said ends are formed by upper and lower ribs and are interconnected to move towards each other or from each other by means of adjusting unit for setting angle between upper ribs of wings providing tight fitting of coiled material to wings. Angle δ between upper and lower ribs of free end of wing is 58° - 60°, and angle γ between upper rib of free end of wing and beveled forming end face of branch pipe is 93° - 95°. At such designed values of said angles for symmetrical collar, angles α and β of tilting of wings to longitudinal axis of branch pipe are α=β=38°-40°.

EFFECT: improved quality of hose forming at provision of high capacity of packing machine including proposed device and provision of high-quality package of improved external appearance.
