FIELD: organic chemistry, anticorrosive agents.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to preparing black conversion oxide covers on steel designated for protection of steel surfaces against corrosion and for precipitation of articles of heating elements of sun-absorbing devices in heliotechnique. Electrolyte comprises sodium, aluminum and iron nitrates and, additionally, hydrogen peroxide and compound of the formula: in the following concentrations of components, g/l: sodium nitrate, 8-10; aluminum nitrate, 3-5; iron nitrate, 3-4; hydrogen peroxide, 2-4; compound of the above given formula, 0.5-1.2. Invention provides decreasing the solution concentration, oxidation point and duration of process, enhancing protecting properties, excluding additional procedures, sufficient absorbing capacity with respect to solar radiation and reducing toxicity of electrolyte.

EFFECT: improved and valuable properties of electrolyte.
