FIELD: building, particularly to protect building against non-uniform settlement.
SUBSTANCE: method involves erecting main foundation part having ┌-shaped depression at foundation base and arranged from outer foundation side so that support ledge is created; constructing ┘-shaped additional foundation part mating main one and spaced apart from main foundation part to create seating platform, which increases total building support area for building settlement, wherein the seating platform rests upon prepared sand bed or soil base; covering mating vertical surfaces of main and additional parts touching each other and inclined at 6-8° to main foundation part with bitumen mastic; laying waterproofing material. Seating platform of additional foundation part extends at, for instance, 6-8° angle to additional foundation part to improve coupling between foundation parts as both foundation parts have been brought into engagement. Lower base of additional foundation part is inclined at an angle of, for instance, 6-8° towards main foundation part. Building construction is carried out so that support ledge of main foundation part designed to support all building weight is over seating platform of additional foundation part and distance between the support ledge and the seating platform is equal to x, wherein x is maximal value of main building foundation part lowering during building settlement within the limits of elasto-indestructible building member deformation. Space defined between support ledge of main foundation part and seating platform of additional foundation part is filled with visco-plastic material.
EFFECT: increased operational strength, reliability and extended building life.
