FIELD: rocketry.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used at designed, developing and manufacturing of solid propellant boost charges and to gas generators of rocket catapults. Charge contains weighted amount of boost charge arranged in multisection packet flat housing made of polymeric polyethylene terephthalate film laminated by polyethylene. Housing is divided into sections is filled with black powder, and part of sections, with thin-walled small diameter tubes made of ballistic solid propellant complying with relationship: 1.5<dout/dch <2.0 where dout is outer diameter of tube, dch is inner diameter of channel. Mass of black powder is 0.8-1.2 of total mass of propellant tubes, and overall width of equipped housing of boost charge is πD where D is inner diameter of body of gas generator.
EFFECT: provision of high gas generation, compact design and adaptability to manufacture.
