FIELD: emergency rescue of flying vehicle crew. SUBSTANCE: proposed ejection seat cartridge includes sleeve, percussion primer, petard, solid-propellant grains, wad, lattice and gaskets. Solid-propellant grains are restricted-burning over external surface. Petard is made from molded black rifle powder with riffled surface directed towards percussion primer. Cardboard gaskets are laid in between end faces of propellant grains contacting petard and lattice. Ejection seat cartridge is provided with additional booster charge made from solid-propellant grains or granulated all-side burning powder whose mass is equal to 0.1-0.3 of mass of main charge.
