FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: proposed gas generator comprises casing with front cover, thrust grate, pry cartridge and central pilot light tube with perforated section on thrust grate side and augmenter solid-propellant charge. Said augmenter solid-propellant charge is arranged in sealed sectioned pack of PETF film laminated by polyethylene to make a cartridge belt coiled to cylinder fitted between gas generator casing walls and said pilot light tube. Sealed pack sections are filled, on front cover side, with thin-dome tabs of ballistic solid-propellants and, on remaining length, with pelletised black powder. Total weight of black powder makes 0.6 of total weight of thin-dome grains of ballistic solid-propellant. Said thin-dome grains of ballistic solid-propellant and weight of black powder are separated by common sealed separation seam. Pilot light tube is perforated where sections are filled with black pelletised powder.
EFFECT: higher reliability and stability.
