FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: magnetoelectric bearing comprises two same members mounted on the axle of the magnetoelectric bearing. The members are provided with the permanent ring U-shaped magnet secured to the rotor, two permanent U-shaped magnets mounted on the stator, and first and second control windings mounted on the magnets. The control system of each member has inverter. The output of the pickup of the axial position of the rotor is connected with the inlet of the first controlled converter through the first input of the first comparator and first controller. The first input of the second comparator and the second controller are connected with the input of the second controller converter through the inverter.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency.
