FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power-plant engineering, in particular to electromechanical energy converters based on contact-free bearings, and can be used to control the rotor position in the magnetic bearings. The controlled magnetic bearing on permanent magnets contains shaft, casing, movable and fixed permanent magnets, safety bearings. The fixed permanent magnet is made in form of sectors making the circle. Between the adjacent sectors of the permanent magnets the heat insulating gaskets are installed. To each sector the controlled heat source is connected. The parameters of the magnetic bearing on the permanent magnets are controlled by change of their residual inductance and coercitive force due to action on the permanent magnets by the regulated heat flow.
EFFECT: reduced weight and size, increased reliability.
