FIELD: medicine, gastroenterology.
SUBSTANCE: it is necessary to carry out a sample in vitro at detecting the synthesis of leukotriene B4 (LTB4) and thromboxin B2 with polymorphonuclear leukocytes (PMNL) at injecting the preparation of 5-aminosalycilic acid into incubation medium and without it. In case of decreased LTB4 and TB2 synthesis at PMNL loading in vitro with salofalc being less than by 25% it is possible to expect decreased sensitivity to the preparation and, thus, decreased clinical effect in the form of prolonged terms for remission development and/or the onset of earlier relapse. At decreased synthesis of both metabolites of arachidonic acid under salofalc impact being more than by 25% it is possible to predict normal cell sensitivity to the preparation and - thus - short terms for re mission development and its prolonged keeping.
EFFECT: higher accuracy and efficiency of detection.
