FIELD: electric engineering, possible use for controlling serviceability of stationary accumulator batteries.

SUBSTANCE: device contains sensor with emitting and receiving piezo-electric transformers, high frequency voltage source and computing device. Sensor consists of two-channeled acoustic route, first channel of which consists of emitter-receiver pair, divided by sound duct from magnetostrictive material and having a shape of contour, internal space of which is filled with electrolyte. Second channel forms sound duct in form of contour, enveloping external surface of sound duct of first acoustic channel and made of same material as emitter and receiver positioned on ends of sound duct. Structural arrangement of computing device consists of current measuring block in accumulator electrolyte, block for estimating status of accumulator and block for measuring electric characteristics of accumulator.

EFFECT: decreased methodic component of measurement error of electric characteristics due to usage as informational sign of density of current, flowing through electrolyte; continuousness and multi-functionality of control: control of voltage of open circuit, voltage of closed circuit, electric resistance of electrolyte, discharge capacity of accumulator; decreased instrumental component of error while using circuit for compensating changes in properties of piezo-electric transformers and magnetostrictive sound ducts of acoustic channels.
