FIELD: electro-acoustics, in particular, electro-static type acoustic emitters.
SUBSTANCE: electro-static acoustic transformer contains emitting element made of elastic material with conductors applied to its surface having contacts for connection to signal source. Emitting element is made multi-layered, while each layer has composite structure of elastic material with filler in form of gas bubbles. Conductors applied to surface of each layer are connected in turns to signal source poles of different names.
EFFECT: increased reliability due to prevention of intensive wear of emitting element and increase of allowed disruptive pressure, and also improved quality of sound due to receipt of flat wave across whole surface of emitting element.
