FIELD: converter engineering; secondary power supplies.
SUBSTANCE: proposed voltage converter is assembled of set of modules uniformly loaded with current in their parallel operation from common power supply or separate power supplies and can afford upward, flat, and drooping external (load) characteristic; each module is connected to power supply and has switching regulator connected through current sensor between input and output leads; control unit whose output is coupled with input of switching regulator and input, with output of amplifier whose inputs are connected to center taps of two resistive dividers; first leads of the latter are integrated with current sensor output; second lead of first resistive divider is connected to reference-voltage supply and second lead of second resistive divider, to output voltage sensor; each module is provided with as many sensors as there are variables to be controlled (temperature, power output, an the like); each sensor output is connected through resistors to center taps of both resistive dividers. and center taps of first resistive dividers are interconnected to form common bus; all modules are grouped; input leads of modules in each group are parallel-connected to power supply and output leads are connected in parallel for summing up power capacities of common or separate loads. As an alternative, input leads of modules in each group are interconnected in series and connected to respective power supply.
EFFECT: enlarged functional capabilities, ability of precluding module overheating.
