Each part of head includes one or more protrusions arranged in alternation with one or more slots, with protrusions of each head part being at least partly inserted into slots of other head part, and at least one of protrusions being surrounded at three sides by other part of head. Toothbrush head includes at least two bristle carrying parts movable independently from one another, said parts including alternating protrusions and slots. Protrusions provided on one part are joined with slots provided on adjoining part. At least one part comprises at least two protrusions.
