FIELD: automotive industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in vehicle brake systems to adjust pressure regulator drive. According to proposed method, drive adjusting bolt arranged in main lever of drive is rotated being spring-loaded through flexible lever of drive relative to rear axle and applies pressure to additional lever of drive resting, in its turn, on rod of pressure regulator piston. When drive is being adjusted, flexible lever remains constantly coupled with rear axle bracket. Measuring section of contact force sensor is inserted between rod of pressure regulator piston and additional lever of drive and, by rotation adjusting bolt of drive, required force is set between piston rod of pressure regulator and additional lever of drive shown on indicator of contact force sensor.
EFFECT: improved safety accuracy of adjustment of pressure regulator driver, simplified adjustment and checking of quality of adjustment.
