FIELD: synthesis of methanol.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises producing methanol from synthesis-gas that composed of monoxide of carbon and/or dioxide of carbon and hydrogen at a pressure of 1-20 Mpa and a temperature of 175-300°C in the presence of catalyzer of methanol synthesis and shifting the reaction balance to the reaction products by removing the methanol vapors from the reaction mixture by means of a sorbent of methanol vapors composed of inorganic acids, porous coals, natural sorbents or their mixtures as a matrix, and active agent inset in the matrix pores and capable to reversible sorption/desorption of methanol vapors.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency.
