DEVICE FOR CONVERTING ROTATION INTO RECIPROCATION Russian patent published in 2006 - IPC F16H25/10 F16H25/12

Abstract RU 2288392 C1

FIELD: mechanical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: device comprises housing (1) that receives rotation body made of flywheel (2), which is locked against movement along the axis of rotation, and slide (3) mounted for permitting reciprocation along the axis of rotation. The side of slide (3) is provided with closed screw groove (6). Carriers (7) are interposed between slide (3) and flywheel (2). One part of the carriers is secured in flywheel (2), and the other part is set in screw groove (6) provided in slide (3). Rotation of slide (3) with respect to housing (1) is arrested by splined joint. Flywheel (2) has longitudinal grooves (8) that receive carriers (7) which can move in grooves (8) of flywheel (2) along the axis of slide (3). The movement of carriers (7) is arrested by thrust members (9) that can also move along the axis of slide (3) and can be locked in a given position.

EFFECT: improved control of reciprocation.
