FIELD: ammunition for close combat weapon.
SUBSTANCE: the shot has a case, propellant charge with a percussion primer and a shot consisting of a blasting charge placed in a plastic shell without any clearance and a blasting device installed coaxially without any clearance in the inner cavity of the blasting charge made of several charging sections of thermoplastic. The outer surface of the front section of the blasting charge is made cylindrical, and the cavity formed between the inner surface of the plastic shell ogival and the tapered surface of the front charging section is filled with polymeric elastic-strong high-explosive or thermit compound. The area of the end face surface of the front charging section - S engageable with the inner surface of the shot shell ogival at an impact with the obstacle is selected from the condition of provision of strength: S>qn/σcs, where: q - the total weight of the members of the construction and charging sections influencing on the rear surface of the front charging sections influencing on the rear surface of the front charging section; n - the maximum overload at a shot, σcs-allowable compression stress.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of action on the target with a simultaneous provision of a multiple-factor affection action of the shot on the target.
